Interested to see what Geissele has done with the Tavor trigger.
Do want!
5K would be too expensive for my taste, but we will see. If they are trying to introduce themselves to the assault rifle world, I don't see why they would price themselves out. If they can get somewhere close to the price of other similar rifles in the same class, I dont see why they wouldn't blow them out of the water. When are we likely to know a real MSRP?
Back on a real keyboard. Sorry for the very short first post, I really hate typing on a phone...
There are two platforms, I believe. The MDR and the MDR-C or compact.
I will post photos from the slide show at the presser when I can, showing Desert Tech's comparison to other well known guns.
They themselves mentioned a delivery date (within the USA) of mid 2015, (1.5 years), so I very much doubt we will get them in 12 months.
They didnt mention TSE by name, but they are aware of the Can. market.
They certainly are after Stormbringer let out a big cheer after asking about the removable stock issue. (It cannot fire, so is not prohib by that means...)
I have NOT yet been to their actual booth yet. I will tomorrow/Wed., so will get more details then. And more photos.
Photos up when I can get to them. Wifi is spotty where I am.
Irrelevant. If they are trying to win any gov contracts they can't charge that kind of money, and if they are making a fa version it is a safe assumption they are looking to enter a gov or agency contract of some sort. As for civilian sales, primo bolt actions at primo prices is one thing. Semi auto rifles is another thing, other than a couple oddball guns I can't see many 3500+ sa rifles. I would imagine this would sit around the 3k mark. Not my thing, but neat idea nonetheless.
Sweet hot diggity. Bring me a .308 with an 18.5"bbl and an MDR-C in .300BLK and I will give you ALL THE MONIES for them.
