    the lab determined that the receiver is exactly the same as the pistols, so it is a just a variant of the pistol and not a rifle

    Yup. It's considered a handgun with a 19 inch barrel and a shoulder stock added.

    I consider it a draw though. They gave us the Ranch Hand non-restricted, which could have gone the other way.

    They are restricted because our RCMP restrict anything they can ...

    We've been importing them for 2 years. CFC's exact phrasign was "once a pistol, always a pistol - gotta change the criminal code to make it different."

    But im wondering why they say its a revolver with 19 " barrel ? isnt the browning buckmark rifle is a pistol too ?(im not complaining about the buckmark being NR just questionning myself)
    If gun's kill people,mine must be defective !
