On the note of not being an AR variant, what about the Alexander Arms Ulfberht? It's not an AR variant. Granted they're still in presale mode, and they're $6850.00 US, but would still be interesting to find out if they'll come to Canada.

Just wanted to let folks know that might have been subscribed to this thread and not know yet about that exciting development in a NR AR10, and I don't think it'll be any norinco

Is IRG selling this "rifle project"?

Has anyone found out anything yet, or are we still arguing that this is an AR variant, when it has nothing similar besides the look?

    Importers, you find out anything?

If anyone thinks they are going to an NR status on this rifle in a couple of days..... well that's just funny. I hope that the internals are unique enough that it can get an NR status, but mousy likely a sample would have to sit in the firearms lab for months or years before it would be labeled NR.
I would love a 300wm in an AR type platform, but the MH will have to do for now

You guys do realize that the RCMP considered a gun an AR variant when they managed to DUCK TAPE the upper and lower together, use sticks and other misc garbage and got a rifle to fire once?
This will certainly be an AR variant.
And like others have said, work for true change, not these weird little "miracle" rifles.
