people should take advantage of dealers like west rifle that have secured product at 2013 price point as when its gone there will have to be a large jump!

We currently sell most of our products at the USD MSRP but if the dollar continues to drop to the forecast level of .85 inter bank rate you may see prices at the cash register jump by 15%-20%

I can assure you as a dealer here that the last thing I want to do is increase any prices but at the end of the day we won't remain in business if we don't. I am giving it another week before I make any decisions about pricing but price increases look to be inevitable. I am sure all the dealers are facing the same dilemma right now. To date we have been lucky as we only started in business March 1st last year so this is the 1st measurable variance we have seen.
very good point, maybe people will be less likely to buy from us direct, my last brownells order with payment via CC cost me 15.36 cents on the dollar +13% hst and shipping,

It is unfortunate that when CAD was 1.1 USD, the savings got rarely passed to the consumer
Now that the USD is 1.1 CAD, the cost will be absorbed by the costumers.

I hate the way this works for the consumer!

Cost will go up 15% minimum, and more like 18-23% sustained. Canada having a weaker dollar is a bad thing, forget the surface level economic BS they try and sell the masses. My opinion.

Too bad the American dollar won't go down about 40%, I'd much rather see that.
