New 1911 Grips from the Designer of the Tavor: Recover CC3

Hi Everyone,

Thought I'd link some pic's of the olive drab cc3 I receivied today.

Just my thoughts....

They appear to be well made, on par with magpul MOE items (the plastic feels the same to me)

The grip texture works, it reminds me of my XDM. I think it would function quite well in wet conditions.

The grip does add some overall size, its mainly the front portion of the grip, so it 'thickens' the back to front of the grip. Otherwise the width is about the same as the regular grip panels.

I added some pics to show how the nut and screw works.
Pics of what came in the package (allen wrench, screws, nuts) and a zahal.org magnet.


I don't actually have any thing to mount on the rail, but it seems sturdy and built decently.

I do however love the looks

I went with the tan grips for my sig 1911.
Can't wait till they arrive.

I went with "looks cool", plus, they can't be any worse than the cheap plastic grips on my Norc!
