I picked up a Vortex Strikefire red dot for mine..... as i ran around the house in my nekid ninja state, pew pew pew'ing all the walking undead between me and my kitchen, I didn't noticd anything wrong....... but maybe I'll take a second peek.

But for the price (and using RD optics) if the front site is off it should not matter?

If you have zero use of irons (using purely optics) then you may as well remove the entire front sight and replace with a low-profile gas block.
May our shots be true and timely, Our observations keen. May our bark roll out like thunder, in the name of home and Queen. May the ranks of tanks and bayonets pay heed to the power of the guns. For all the lords of battle, We are the chosen ones.

If that's what you're considering, then this is a thread you HAVE to read; http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum...r-Cutoff-Wheel

I played with it a bit more and found adjusting the rear sight you can line them up, however, at that point the rear sight has the windage adjusted all the way to one side

workable? potentially. Ideal? not by a long shot.

Working with Marstar on this one... they've been great so far

John, will the 20 inch models come in? Cash in hand.
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.

    I'd buy a 20 inch in a heart beat.
I am curious as to why an 18 or 20 inch isn't popular?
