    Federal Lake City Ammo XM118LR 7.62x51mm 175 Grain ?

I was just wondering if it is possible to get this ammunition?

The reason to post a new thread is to see if others are interested as well. With the new DPMS GII platform and the 1:10 barrels, this may be a good choice. It seems that overrun Lake City ammunition will soon be flooding the market - IMHO.

What kind of price will it run I wonder? I am just getting in to the .308 game and trying to figure out what type of ammo I should pick up for a accurized M305 (I know it is an oxymoron) I will go handload route in the future, but hand loading/reloading will not be doable for me at this time.

I'd be all over it if it was a reasonable price. Having said that I have hunch that it may be a while before we see any north of the border.

What would you consider a reasonable price??

$399 to $345 for 240 rds is the cross border price...

That sounds pretty pricey... That's only marginally cheaper than 200 rounds of gold medal match 175's

This was $25 a box at a gun show, albeit it's probably not the same formula :P
