AFAIK, the first gen is two piece welded together. The second gen is made out of a solid block of aluminium.

I notice that the front page says: "Shipping:$0.00" and at checkout, it is bumped to $15, which appears to be a flat shipping rate...

edit: it would also appear that shipping charge to Zimbabwe is free... :-/

Shipping is a flat $15 ... sorry about the apparent discrepancy, my web guy says that's the way it is with this software.
