    Scopes on the T97 FTU

    Hey Gunnutz.

    I'm looking into getting T97 with the FTU. My questions for you guys that have em is;
    what optics are you using?
    What optics are you limited to?

    If you run an eotech you have to put it fairly far forward and I've taken a few chunks of skin off with scope rings with wide bases

    I'm running a Vortex (Viper?) 6.5-20X44. Might put something smaller on later for everyday use, but I wanted to see what kind of accuracy I could get with it. Let's face it: you can't hit it, if you can't see it. So far I'm impressed. Seems to be keeping about 1 1/2 " at 100. No problems or restrictions mounting. Used a set of medium Burris tactical that I had, and it lined up pretty much perfect. No need for a cheek pad, and I'm getting a cheek weld, not a chin weld.

    Agree with the Eotech comment.

    Running a Vortex SparII, works great.
