would have been nice if we could have gotten some specs on the chrome lining process on these barrels in that video.
Since chrome lining is out of the question, would nitro carbonizing work just as well and be a cheaper solution for the same result?

The 'gremlin issue' that was hit or miss for which no dealer fully addressed as far as I know. More and more rifles were imported. That being said I've never experienced a gremlin at all.

AFAIK, the gremlin was more a problem for the 858 than the vz58. Some of the vz58's had their own problems with overgassing though, which has been well addressed by the warranty department.
