With the rifle in the video, any chrome lining that may have been present was completely gone at the end of shooting.
That particular ammo wasn't corrosive, but I have run corrosive through it.

why does everyone think that corrosive ammo is going to eat through the barrel in a matter of minutes, who gives a damn if its chromed or not. judging by how concerned most of you are about if its chromed or not i think its safe to say your most likely going to baby your rifle any way and clean it after each use. The barrel is still going to be there when you get home from the range trust me
Ya, so the barrel is not chrome lined currently, we get it. But will you ever consider bringing in chrome lined ones later?
This is not currently an option. If it is an option and not cost prohibitive we would get all the barrels chrome lined.

I cant wait! My wife killed her first moose with the old 858 just recently. ( perfect pass through the lungs )
I'd like to order mine without the chrome lined barrel, but I would prefer the rest of the rifle chrome plated
