    .22/handgun targets, possible or not?

Is there any reason the ERD wouldn't approve .22 sensitive targets? And do you have any plans to produce them?

    Thanks!

In order to sensitize an explosive to the point it detonates from a rimfire impact some very sensitive compositions must be used. These typically involve the use of incompatible chemical compounds and the margin for safety over a rifle target is drastically reduced. Some compositions I've been privy to border on the insane and there is no way we would expose our customers to that kind of potential risk.

We will explore the possibility of more sensitive targets and we would love to have a rimfire product available, but only after we meet demand for our rifle targets and when we are satisfied we have a composition safe enough to use.
