I'm not surprised at all. I think it was an attempt to grasp at straws to get the mags into Canada.

Sometimes it works. Better to try and fail, then to fail without trying.

How many Conservative majorities will it take to get Firearms Act rewritten?
Not sure many of us could live long enough...
Average human lives are only about 75 years long.

At this pace, I reckon we need another hundred fifty years of Conservative majority...

Okay so have a liberal majority and never ever hold a gun again.

Shalom. Don't give up. The government itself is sick of their BS. They might shut them down. Stay in the fight.
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.

At least the RCMP firearms lab is consistent. Consistent in that they are consistently inconsistent.

Firearms act needs to go, wholesale.

    HOW IS DAY DREAMING GOING?

Need to wake up and see the political reality. We are a small group. Only way we can get what we want is sustained incremental change. FA is not going anywhere anytime soon. I am 33 and i say it would take decades of handwork to reverse that.

Go to large Canadian cities. Its very hard to change public perception. It's a PR battle not logical. It's not about facts but perceived facts. We as a group need to smarten up and learn to get things done in the new environment. Look at all the lobies which cover liberal causes and how they manage their message. We need to sound rational and reasonable.

we as group don't sound reasonable when we demand full autos for everyone without licencing.

get rid of FA with what? how do you fill that void. we need to keep FA but make it irrelevant.
