    Do the NEA uppers come cerakoted the same colour as the lowers that were recently on sale? I'd like to build my rifle with the reciever halves matching if possible.

    They are lighter grey just like the picture. They are anodized.

    Do you folks carry any uppers that match those lowers? Or plan on getting anything in at any time?

    How do you find the slick sided upper?? No need for a forward assist??

    The AR was originally designed without one but the US military made them change it so that there was a manual way to ensure the bolt was fully forwards.

    The only time I have ever used one was when doing press checks.

    The forward assist was added because Soldiers were told that they didn't need to clean their rifles so bolts were seizing up.

    Can also load more silently easing bolt forward and pressed for full lock.
