Yah, Frank has already posited your review video in the M14.ca picture thread (post #286). But, a dedicated video review thread is more appropriate, no need to hide it. Looking forward to the assembly video(s) Tony.

Thanks! Sorry I didn't notice he posted it in that thread. I'm still new here and trying to get to know my way around here.

Tony, we've been watching your M14 videos for a long time now! Keep up the great work, we had the whole crew watch this one. Clear and concise, as usual. Cheers!

Yeah. But will your rifle shoot any better with it versus without it?

    Edit:
Review the results of the recent M1A Precision Challenge.
A historical summary has been collected in this PDF document for your review.

Resolve 99 percent of all firearms 'accidents':
Keep the end dispensing high speed lead always pointed in a safe direction and always always always keep that booger picker off the kill switch st@pid!!

Most definitely yes! I shot a 1.25" group at 100 yard using a stock DA socom 18 in a blackfeather stock and blackarrow spring guide.

Great! Glad you all liked it.

I baselined the host rifle just over a week ago. I had another forum member shoot my M1A standard with H&R barrel with a GI fiberglass stock. The only upgrade done to it was shimming the gas cylinder and that's it. Using a Bassett scope mount, Zeiss 3-9X50 and a Bradley cheek rest off the sand bags, he shot a 1.458" group at 100yds after warming up the rifle. This was with my golden 125gr Speer TNT load. I then shot a group myself and it measured 1.500".

We'll see how she does after all the mods. I would liked to have dropped my medium weight LRB action into it, but it's my service rifle match gun. It shoots the same as the standard. Once the standard is in the Blackfeather, I'll have a shoot-off between the two rifles. I'll probably take one or two other guys along and have them shoot both rifles as well. I'm sure some of the guys from our 600yd club would love to have a run at this.
