Something for a Sako L61R. I have seen numerous times people looking for an option for these.

There are a bajillion Lee Enfields in Canada.

How about a Chassis system for an Enfield?

In truth though, you'd have to aim for a sub $400 price point though, since I doubt most people would be willing to spend more than that. So a super-simplified chassis of some sort? It would have to somehow incorporate the original bottom metal and magazine. You wouldn't need a long fore-end rail, just over top of the receiver area. Having it compatible with AR stocks and pistol grips would be a good idea too?

    Am I off my rocker?

Who are the sponsors? We have lots available in our warehouse here. We can't force inventory on our dealers!

That may be tough... The Howa action has a flat bottom. Much easier to do for the LSS. But we will be looking into this mid 2015.

It should be possible, but to achieve a lower price point may be difficult. Funny enough we have never been asked to make a chassis for this, and we get requests for all kinds of platforms on a daily basis.

I think most people looking for an enfield want a cheap simple hunting gun. There aren't too many people looking to build their enfields. If a mil surp was to be done an SKS/Mosin/SVT would be nice due to the availability of surplus ammo.
