Spend a couple of extra bucks and get a GSG 1911 .22. Made in Germany and exquisitely machined. No tool marks or rattles. The tool marks on the Norinco are numerous and the slide rattles like a maraca. If you want a conversion kit for Norinco then GSG makes the parts that you get. Check this thread from another site. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=407143 The only .22 semi I know of that Norinco makes is the TT Olympia and it is not a 1911. Please keep in mind I am no expert and have not done this conversion. This information is just to make you go Hmmmmm.
You can get the GSG 1911-22 for $399 or less in Canada now. I can't imagine a Norinco would come that much cheaper to make it worth it, when considering the difference in quality.
Norinco makes a very good 1911. I have several.
Also have a GSG 1911-22 and a Kimber Conversion kit on a Norinco,
but I'd be interested in a dedicated 1911 Norinco in a .22LR.
