Sure looks that way, doesn't it? Two cross bolts holding the bedding block in the stock is what I see, Maybe the "precision" model will have a full-length block and chunkier grip with more vertical angle.

Looking at the pictures in post 1, I see a bunch of bolts in the barrel channel and seams/tabs near the recoil lug area.

It indicates to me that the stock is "assembled" from various bits. And some of those bits merge at critical stress areas.

maybe completely wrong but why bother with all those bolts if this was a 1 pc fused in the mold stock?

It would definitely make molding and thus production easier and less expensive.

    Look forward to seeing one...

They actually had one of the Engineer's at the booth with these stocks. I thought It looked like a nice, cost effective upgrade to your standard run-of the mill 700 stock. And at under $300 US it seems like a good value (to me at least) for someone looking to upgrade their old 700.
Sure its not a Precision Chassis, but It gets your 700 barrel floating and they're working on interchangeable magwell inserts for different mags, offers you the flexability of the SGA chassis as well as (presumably) reliable AICS sized mags at $28 U.S. MSRP... that's a great deal compared to the AICS ones on the market now. In my opinion its geared towards the regular guy not the target shooter.

I'm not really a Magpul fan but this looks like an interesting product. Would probably buy one to upgrade my Tikka stock if they make one for it. I won't be holding my breath on that one though.

Just the stock this hunter who does some precision rifle on the side needs. I'll get one if it feels right.
