2015 Shot Show: Burris XTR II FFP Rifle Scopes

Burris is releasing a new line of XTR II FFP riflescopes in both mil and MOA. They have 34mm tubes and will be released with the new SCR reticle, the same reticle the new Steiner T5Xi scopes will have as an options. These scopes also have illumination with off settings in between each intensity. The scopes have 10 mil per rotation turrets and a real zero stop. The turrets are clearly marked with the dual rotation elevation numbers and L/R windage. These are features that up until now, I have only seen in high end rifle scopes. It is very exciting to see them in scopes in this price range. The scopes appear to be solid.

Four long range models will be released:
    2-10x42mm
    3-15x50mm
    4-20x50mm
    5-25x50mm

The MAPs are $949, $1049, $1099 and $1249. However, while I was at the Burris booth, I met one of our big importers who told me that he expects the the Canadian price to be in line with those numbers and likely even below them.

Specs for the SCR are here (you need to click on the second picture for the dimensions):

Did they say anything about when these scopes may land up here?

Burris has always had pretty nice glass, about time they put together a good reticle. The SCR is very well thought out. Very excited for this option at an excellent price point. Looking forward to comparing to my NF.

Cool. I expect the glass to be as good or better then vortex. Hopefully they have decent internal adjustment and track well. Great price point.

Looks like their website is updated as well, right on the ball!! I own the 5-25 XTRII and I am very pleased with its performance. Holds zero and tracks really well, good bang for the buck
