I think the magazines suck in both models, they really need to fix that.
The "Garand" model mag shouldn't have that extra crap attached to it, that should be part of the gun and any standard 10/22 mag of any capacity should be able to be used.
The "M-14" model should at least take advantage (if it doesn't) of the big box to incorporate more rounds than 10 (assuming it doesn't).
