I checked out two of Brownings new lightweight shotgun models.

The Cynergy Feather Composite and the Citori Superlight Feather

The Cynergy Feather Composite in Charcoal Grey

It is one of their higher end shotguns.

When first picking it up I was really in love with the balance of the firearm. It really flows into a strong shooting position. It feels almost lighter than it actually is as the weight seems to be in the locations where you are holding it rather than pulling back at either end of the firearm. The grip overall is very comfortable. It does not feel like a cheap composite stock at all.

Stats:

  1. Available only in 12ga
  2. Available in 26" or 28" Barrel
  3. 3" Chamber
  4. Average Weight: 7Lb
  5. Includes choke insert set

MSRP: $2069.99

Next up:

The Citori Superlight Feather

Similar in size and feel to the Cynergy, the superlight feather however is a tad bit lighter and has a grade II/III walnut wood stock I love this shotgun. It feels great and looks great. This one comes in either 12ga or 20ga

Stats:

  • 12ga or 20ga
  • 26" Barrel
  • 2-3/4" Chamber
  • Weight: 12Ga - 6Lb / 20ga - 5Lb
  • Comes with 3 piece choke set

MSRP: $2389.99

I am confused now with the weight of the Feather Composite. Sometimes I see it as around 6 pds 8 oz as per Browning website and now as a 7 pds 9 or 11oz... duh?!
