The idea of a true big bore air rifle with some real bonk is catching on the USA.
AirForce has just such a gun, and I had a chance to fire it at Media Day
I happened to be walking by their firing spot, and someone passed me some info and invited me to try it.
I'm glad they did stop me, because this is quite the gun.
The booth attendant was watching my reaction as I fired, and commented that I looked surprised by the noticeable recoil.
Certainly not painful by any means, but much more recoil than expected from an airgun.

Impressive :)

Did they give you any idea what they would be selling for, and was it the 350 gr. cast bullets shown that were generating 500 foot pounds of energy.

AirForce is doing what Quackenbush pioneered in the .458 PCB world. Let's hope they make an accurate & affordable uber plinker/hunter that will prove reliable in the long run, and at a decent price.

I must have fired 50 shots through that thing. It was a lot of fun and the guy kept insisting I keep firing it. Hard to argue with that...

This is kind of cool.

What is the actual diameter of the bullets .451"/.452"/.458".

Also how loud is it in decibels?

I had earpro on at the time. I didn't notice anything particularly noisy about it. maybe something close to a .22 or quieter. I didn't make much notice of the noise of it. It isn't very loud.

IIRC, its 3 good shots, then it drops off quickly.
That doesnt sound very impressive, but if you will never get 3 shots at the same coyote,

Wow ive been waiting for them to make this since i first shot a friends .25 cal version.
I wonder if it will also accept the smaller caliber barrels as well. If i can get one in .45 with a .177 spare sign me up
