    SSG3000 and Tac 2

    Hello CGN,

    We feel it necessary to provide an update regarding the SSG3000 and Tac 2 rifles. Currently, these models are listed as discontinued on the Sig USA website.

    Neither model has been discontinued; Sig Germany is not able to export at the moment, so Sig USA is not taking any orders. If the export situation does not improve for the US, then these models will not be available to our American counter parts (nor the grey marketers that have been bringing them into Canada).

    The good news in all of this is that we are able to purchase directly from Germany. While exports are currently on hold, once the ban is lifted, we will be bringing these two awesome rifles in (plus all the X-Fives, X-Six's, and 210's).

    For anyone looking for an 18" SSG, we have recently sent product to: P&D, Ellwood Epps, Wanstalls, and Flaherty's.

    We have the Tac 2 in stock in both 308 and 338, if anyone is looking for one.

    Can I order extra barrels for Tac II? Do you have it in stock?

    We do not have any spare barrels at this time, as our order did not leave the factory prior to the export ban.

    As soon as the ban is lifted, we will be bringing the barrels in.

    Sig Germany is optimistic that they will be permitted to submit export permits by the end of this quarter. If all goes well, we will be looking at May/June for delivery.

    We ask again and again. It just doesn't seem to happen. I mentioned it directly to an MDC rep. at the Wanstalls Sig Sauer Day event.
    I've never seen or heard of them being for sale in Canada other than from "grey market importers".
