Just finished watching the kickok video, what an interesting idea for a carbine. Would love to eventually get my hands on one.

I think in the USA, a 30" long M4 carbine semi needs a $200 tax stamp, but the 30" (telescoping stock extended) Mech tech doesn't, since it isn't a gun. So it is an attractive carbine option, the .460 Rowland has about 1000 foot pounds of energy, making it is a handy thing down South. It weighs 5.5 pounds with no lower, so it is really easy to shoot.
I remember that when I fired the Sterling smg, for the first shot everybody fired at the same time in semi-auto. I had to pull the trigger extra hard for the first shot, because I had no idea whatsoever whether I had fired or not. Without the noise, I could not perceive any recoil at all. The Mech Tech is the same, it is like a toy gun to shoot.
I paid about $300CDN a few years ago, build quality was variable then.

8 years ago I bought mine cheap. It's serves a niche.
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.

I found it interesting, it was accurate (1911 in 45).
I never liked the spring "boing" feeling when shooting it though.

Here's my 2 from deep storage. Bought the one with the wood front complete with a colt lower (45acp). Figure I might sell the top one for $450.

I believe that Freedom Ventures used to bring them into Canada, but it was my impression that they did not sell very well, as the firearm is still restricted. He might still have a few kicking around.......................?

I emailed Mechtech themselves. They don't have an export license.
