I've had a few of these for years on my levers. They are great but the screw-type mechanism is a pain in the butt. Easy fix is to solder the "key" to a screwdriver. These are used in retail stores from time to time too

Would buy if they were combination locks.

Out of curiosity wants to stop it from being slid down the grip (enough to free hammer)?

Good question. They have a plastic ball on them that blocks the hammer from being pulled back.

They can be slid down the grip, but theoretically why would you trigger lock a gun with a round in the chamber? The device itself prevents the action from being opened while it's locked so it's not like someone could bypass the lock to fire the gun. The hammer block is a bit redundant given how the action is locked closed. Works for 99.9% of levers I would imagine.

Just buy enough to make it worth the shipping . Sell some to your friends or it's a good excuse to buy more leaver guns. You cant expect them to lose money when they ship something to you or we would have no stores to buy anything from .

Drill out the threaded plastic, insert combination lock.

It has to start somewhere. It has to start sometime.
