So rifle ran smooth? Im not at all concerned with accuracy, just the action itself and how it cycled with surplus sounds like it was ok

Runs like a top. I think my last range day I shot 80 rounds of Hornady zmax and likely the same of the south African stuff, no problem.

Hit the gong at 230 with zmax constantly off a bag. Sherwood park gun range.

Grab any hornady zmax or steel case match you find.

I had mine out over may long and was grouping well at 200m and 225m. Too bad i found out the hard way i wasnt quite on crown land. Wasnt even allowed to 'clean up' my mess so i could get target pics. Grouped about 1-1.5" that i could tell. Rapid fire 5 shots i hit 3". Now, im not very experienced at shooting with the MH but seemed to be consistant. I was prone using my survival/camping pack for support. It seemed that i couldnt get my bipod the right height. Im sure with more planning, better shooting technique i could do better; which is to say the rifle has a lot more in it yet.

Take heart those who went for OD!

My Blue Titanium MH arrived yesterday.

Initial impression is: everything I hoped it would be.

I am excited to get it out to a range, and see how it shoots!

I was looking for a do-everything rifle. So my build is:

    18.6" steel barrel, light contour
Crowned muzzle (no brake, no threading)
    JP Enterprises 12" forend
    Ambi Safety
    Magpul PRS stock and MIAD
    Cerakote in "Blue Titanium"
(Nightforce 2.5-10x32 in an ADM mount pictured)

The weight and balance are fantastic.

I'll put it on a scale and snag some pictures comparing it to my M14 build when I get a moment!
