In case anyone here wants to follow along Jerry from Mystic Precision will be doing an accuracy evaluation on the MH and the new BCL102.
This will be an unbiased test and Jerry will be developing a couple handloads for each rifle individually and seeing just what each platform is capable of.

here's two 5 shot groups. That flyer was shot four of five and I'm thinking it was me, or a bad round. Can argue with the results though.

Once I shoot all this factory stuff I'm going to try some hand loads and see if i can replicate the results.
    Have you since tried?

You could upgrade the BCG, if ATRS is too busy to handle milling the CH relief into the new carrier, I know a RD local gun nut machinist that could do it for you.

If the bolt is shaving brass off your ammo is probably way over pressure.
Upgrade to a JP high pressure bolt might be a fix.

I would be interested to know what muzzle velocity people settled on, on the 6.5 Creedmoor models. Mine has a medium contour barrel, 18.6". New Lapua brass, Berger 140 grain target, BR-4 primers, 2.80" COAL. I put the brass through a Sinclair neck expander mandrel die, and reamed flash holes to 1.5 mm, otherwise they were straight out of the box. The standard deviations are for 5 rounds.

Those velocities seem pretty low for a 6.5 CM. What bullet are you using?

That bullet is a very long bullet for a set mag length. One uses up a lot of case space with that bullet.
I tried the longer target bullets in my .308 MH, but gave up due to low velocities as trade off to use high BC bullets.
I use that exact bullet in my 6.5x284 F Class rifle, but I have the freedom to set it way out in the neck.
