Yep that Gen 2 looks great. These would sell like hotcakes!
While it can accept an AR upper it has substantial enough differences from the standard AR pattern that it is certainly arguable; if the AR180B can be classified as different enough not to be a variant then surely this would have a chance?
Dude, the lab banned a .22lr blowback semi because they put replica AK plastic furniture on it.

We imported one of these lowers and submitted it for classification late last year.
The Lower will not accept any AR lower parts (trigger groups, safeties, grips, stocks, etc.) and uses a proprietary carrier that you install your bolt in. It will accept AR magazines and of course AR upper receiver groups.
I hate to be the one with bad news but the RCMP FRT section have classified it as an AR-15 Variant. So Restricted it is.
