Seems like the current price down south for a Chiappa .45-70 takedown carbine is around $1500US so...... the "price is right" as they say.
Our Government trusts rivets more then law abiding gun owners.

It is true, but I think 45-70 aint too bad either haha. People have been asking for one of these rifles in 454 casull for some time now.

I want to shoot one just at dusk to see the muzzle flash should burn the hair off what ever your shooting at if it's within 50 yards. I thought my Ruger Number 3 had kick in 45-70. What is the little gizmo on the front of the magazine tube under the front of the barrel for.

Take down level, pull it away from gun & then unscrew it & the barrel/mag tube will pull off.
