I emailed you guys about some work on my vz58 rifles but I forgot to ask if you strip the rifle of the old paint before cerakoting it?

    Bfiles,

Yes, we completely strip off all the old paint. We follow the exact process that Cerakote recommends for all of their applications, below is an overview of the process.

    • Phase 1: Disassembly
    • Phase 2: Degrease
    • Phase 3: Surface Prep (sandblast)
    • Phase 4: Gas Out - Pre-Heat
    • Phase 5: Spraying (cerakote application)
    • Phase 6: Curing (Bake)
    • Phase 7: Reassembly
    • Phase 8: ENJOY!!!

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Pete @ TacOrd

Nice. You guys seem to be the go-to for benelli work, maybe i'll bring my Supernova over for some work and get it koted while i'm at it.

Will cerakote hold well on the polymer receiver and bits on the supernova?
Are you familiar with The Shmoo, Mr. Fisher?

Many people cerakote glock handles and from what I have seen they hold up very well. You shouldn't have a problem!

Can you guys do digicam or just a single colour?

I wonder what the burnt bronze would look like on an Od frame??

    LuckyOnes,

We are not currently doing patterns. We will definitely be offering this service in the spring once we have completed our Certified Cerakote Applicator training.

    Stay tuned!

    Thanks,
