That seems like the probable cause. I had 100℅ success on that case of thundershot with the mosin.
We've been in touch with Shooter937 and are taking care of him. We're looking forward to getting the two remaining targets back for analysis and getting him some replacements which are leaving today!
Great product. Can be found at both Bullseye and Gobles in London. I'm no scientist but I think the packaging has a lot to with it. Flat face surface makes for better hits. Just seemed like a better bang than shockwave. Have no experience with tannerite brand.
I've had great success using a 22-250 at 100 yards. 100% detonation and absolutely nothing left;

I have only had one not blow. I may not have mixed it enough. I did blow a couple on January 1st just to show my dad. Used a rem 308 pump and a 22-250 both went bang. My dads face was priceless.
