Cadex Customer's Pics

Hi All,

Been gone for a while, interesting to see my rifle in the first post

I took my Cadex 700 out and broke my 1k cherry a few months back, made repeated hits on a torso sized gong using 175gr SMKs at 1,050. I love the rifle and the chassis just can't be compared to anything else out there. I would like to get the .50 one day, just need to save a bit of money for it.....and save a bit more for the ammo, haha!

Here is a Dual Strike with a Rem700. The chassis is custom painted with a nice camouflage.
Looking really good!

Thanks for the compliments, but in all honesty, I end up taking hundreds of pictures, get lucky on a few, and end up deleting a LOT of bad photos, haha!

Here is my Cadex build, been very happy with it! and very impressed with the level of service from Cadex!

View attachment 34979Rem 700 AAC-SD 20 HB, Field Core, Areo Precision mount, 2.5x16 6500. I have a SHV optic on order and am currently looking for a brake. I'm thinking I might order a 20 inch Carbon fiber wrapped barrel also. Could anyone recommend a straighter pistol grip? I find this one has too much of an angle... Thanks ..Anyway here's what I have so far, I'm very pleased. One more thing, can someone tell me the torque specs for the two screws that hold the chassis to the action.

I really like the magpul k2+, but it involved a dremel to cut off the Beaver tail like the Ergo grip.
Chassis to action is 65 inch pounds (max of your fat wrench)

That's great. I just cut the beaver tail off this one. I used a ofal knife. But I find it has to much of an angle.

Looking at all the pics on this thread feels like self torture. Some day I will be able to afford a cadex chassis...some day.

@Fontana101, when you'll get one, you will understand why people feel like sharing their build pics, they're proud to support a Canadian company, too!

In the meantime, how about another round of pics?

A Dual Strike housing a XL Remedy Surgeon action.
Add in a nice Cerakote to match the chassis color, and you've got a sweet looking rig!

New scope! And mount I may have to get some wrap or something to lessen the clashing.

Schmidt and Bender PMII 5-25x56,cw 0.1mrad/click, P4fine reticle.
Spuhr SP-4002, 1.5" height, 0tilt, 34mm tube.

I finally did right by the awesomely crafted chassis, and added finely crafted euro-parts. Now if only I had a more fitting rifle, seems out of place with all of the finely crafted gear!

@bsand, The colors may clash a bit, but the build is really nice! For the rifle, how about a CDX rifle?

Funny you say that, yesterday I had the pleasure of taking 4 shots out of a BRAND NEW CDX in 308win.. Wasn't mine, but a fellow club member had one and was breaking it in.. BOY is it ever one slick rifle, took 4 shots and they were cloverleafing!! I can't believe how little recoil is felt, shoots like a dream wish I had one..

I just got this one together and am waiting on taller rings from Mystic Precision .
The MDT skeleton butt stock and fixed butt stock adapter I took off my LSS stock work perfectly on the Cadex stock .
Rem 700 SPS tactical 20 in barrel , Timney trigger , Sightron III 8-32x56
