Maybe they bought a lot and had stock left over... anyway, it's a gorgeous rifle.

Anybody know what rings work properly on this particular rail?

My friend bought an optic and $100 CZ rings for it which don't even grab under the rail.

    Any rings designed for Picatinny.

The CZ branded rings are listed as for the CZ550 but don't clamp underneath the rail... either the wrong type or just crappy rings.

Beautiful rifle, disregard the mess... doing some unpacking and was attempting to attach some rings.

My guess would be the CZ rings fit the dovetail receiver.
I have never seen a fibre optic sight angled like that.

The front fibre optic sight is angled down like that so it can be adjusted forward or backwards for elevation.

I wonder why they didn't just incorporate a peep sight into the rail like the acutal CDN Ranger rifle and get rid of the barrel mounted rear sight?

I may have to get one of these before the UN marking scheme has them defaced
