Hello from Alberta

Hey all.
I live in Calgary, but I am rarely there thanks to my job. I have been shooting a bow since I was 9, and hunting since I was 12.
I have very limited experience in firearms. Little bit of shotgun when I was younger, shot 1 whitetail with a rifle, and gophers with the old .22.
That's about it.
I decided this year to dive into the world of big guns. I am expecting my first PAL in the mail in about 2 weeks, and plan to go gun shopping directly after.

I expect to ask many questions that a lot of you will laugh at, but I am sure this is the place to get the right answers.
