Well, CP delivered early!!
I got mine in the mail today - but there is a problem with it straight out of the box. The stock will not go on.

Grumpy, I'm going to send you a couple of pics with what I think is the issue.

not an issue, they are all very tight, make sure the bolt is fully forward and lube up the back end, rest the front end of the rifle on a pillow and go for it.

It's a bit more than that I think - it goes 3/4 of the way on...then stops. I tried smacking it on with my hand, but then could barely get it off.
I sent Grumpy my thoughts on what I think it is; it looks like the casting attached to the stock is a little deformed - but I'll wait to hear back.

Did you send it to sales or to me?

Got mine in the post yesterday and it is flipping great, spent 5 minutes just holding it on the hip whilst saying "papers please" and "for you tommy zee war is over!" In a dodgy German accent.

Because I took it out this afternoon - CCI Mini-Mags, stingers and some Winchester bulk crap.
Only two FTE's and 1 FTF after 500 rounds.

Off a clamped steady rest bench, 37 meters, no wind. Who says semi's aren't accurate.

OK, has anybody stuck a scope on top yet? Not saying I'm going to (before all you die hard reset enactment nerds jump down my throat &#128518 just curious, was shooting today and it's freaking accurate BUT then I started to wonder what it would shoot like with some different sight on top. Maybe a narrow tube to get that WW2 feel?
Thoughts anyone?

Got mine the other day which included a scope mount in the order but I only intended on using a red dot. After seeing the above post I may have to put a better optic on it.
