Grumpy which do you prefer DD V11pro or this Armalite M15 3gun?

I placed a $400 plus deposit on a 13.5" model with you, I mean Tyson, a week or so ago. It would be great if the brake was not welded but not critical. I hope that I am first in line!

Why put a 12" handguard on the 18" model

I can't give you an honest answer to that question just yet.

I haven't had a chance to put rounds down range with the Armalite rifles yet, but if they are as nice as the reports I have read and from speaking with people who have fired them, I honestly think that it will boil down to a personal preference as to style and features.

I have to say that the 13.5 with the adjustable gas system intrigues me as I have been a fan of shorter barreled AR's for years.

My understanding is it was to keep weight down and keep the point of balance closer to the center of the rifle. Also with an adjustable gas block you need to be able to easily access the adjustment on it. Wouldn't be as easy to do with a longer fore end on there.

I think so too, can we confirm the 13.5 can be done without pinning and welding the comp?

We have requested not to have it pinned and welded. We will not know 100% until they get here if it happens
