Question about the P229 "Canadian Spec" Barrel

Hi, I have a question (which I posed in the pistol forum and it was recommended that I ask it here). I am interested in maybe getting a P229 SAS in 9mm. Do you know, are the "Canadian Spec" barrels made by Sig, or are the a third party / aftermarket barrel?

On a separate note, I see that as a vet (I retired after serving 30+ years in the RCAF) I qualify for the SIG IOP program. What would the price be? (If the SAS Gen 2 isn't available, there are other models I might be interested in.) If you are not able to answer in a public forum, please feel free to PM me.

    Thank you.
