WANTED : Shop Helper @ Dlask Arms
We are so busy that there is an opening for a motivated shop helper here in Delta. You should bring a good attitude and excellent safety skills, along with a keen interest to learn more about the firearms manufacturing industry. Duties will include but are not limited to :
-general shop help
-shipping duties
-learning to use milling machines and lathes, sand blasting and drill presses
-general organizing and clean up
-you MUST be physically fit, this is a manual labour job and your body needs to be up to the task.
-you MUST hold a valid RPAL and have an RCMP background check
-you MUST be able to work 7-3:30, M-F and have reliable transportation (this area has poor transit service)
-machining experience is VERY desirable
It is a very relaxed atmosphere, it is very much a small family type operation. That being said you will be expected to work mostly without much supervision. Joe is a wealth of knowledge in firearms and it is a really good opportunity to learn from him. Above all we value honesty and hard work, if you think this is for you then give us a call.
