    Now in @ dlask arms, 80% 1911 kits !

We have been absolutely inundated with emails and calls and people just walking in the door wanting to know when the next batch of 80% 1911 kits will be in. The answer....NOW ! These are limited in number and a lot of folks are buying multiples so if you want one then do yourself a solid and order up. All parts are stainless steel with Novak sight cuts. Half are Commander and half Government.

I noticed the original ones were $570 and the ones you are now selling are $750. What are the differences to justify the $180 price increase?

Our dollar, and the guy posting the add was dyslexic, got the numbers buggared up!

The $570 kit didn't come with a barrel. The $750 kit does. We have always had both kits for sale but it kept skewing our stock numbers and what we had to order. Now we are just making the complete kits, barrel , frame & slide and selling them this way. Saves us from ending up with different quantities of various parts.

Also just so you know, bobdbldr is correct in that the dollar dropping 10% since our last order hasn't helped us but we HAVE kept the price the same. For now. You're welcome....(:

Thanks for clearing that up for me. So I guess that these kits are imported from the USA since the value of the dollar can effect the pricing. I must have just assumed that they were manufactured in Canada. Thanks.

They are not from the US. We have had multiple enquiries FROM companies in America to buy them because they are as good a quality as anything they make in the US. And more readily available. As far as paying in USD, that applies for ANY product not from Canada, you could buy from Timbuktu and still pay in USD.

What is left to be machined? Are they like American 80% frames and it's the slide rails and barrel seat?

Do the barrels require fitting to the slide?
