    ACR DMR update

Well CGN we have some sad news to relay today. Please read the letter (see below) that has gone out to all the Canadian Dealers with ACR DMR’s on order with us. This project is near and dear to our hearts, so it is with great regret we have to make this post. Your dealers will have the most up to date info, so please contact them directly for updates or inquiries.

“We have just received official notification that the Bushmaster ACR DMR, as a complete firearm or as a factory 18.5” barrel conversion kit, will not be produced in 2015.

Due to the move of the Bushmaster production and R&D to their new facility in Alabama, they are simply unable to commit the required resources to finish the project at this time. They anticipate that the move will only affect 2015 deliveries and they plan to be settled into their new facility to kick off 2016.

We greatly appreciate the support, patience and commitment from all of you who have continued to stay the course with us during this time, however based on this new information we have taken the decision to cancel all outstanding back orders for ACR DMR’s.

We do intend to pursue this project further, but until such time as we have final production models in hand and ready to ship to our valued customers we will no longer be accepting nor pursuing bookings for this model.

We offer our sincere apologies in this matter. Rest assured that we here at Gravel Agency will always strive to provide you with the most up to date, and honest information in order to serve our customers as effectively as possible and we will continue to provide you all with the highest quality products on the market today.”

At least Bushmaster will have something to reveal at SHOT Show in 2016. For the 3rd year in a row....

I've read a couple places that there is a lot of doubt that bushmaster will ever start releasing conversion kits.

There's a shocker.... This is the exact reason why I traded my ACR for a Daniel Defense, piss poor customer and parts support, not to mention no barrels, conversion kits, etc...
