its going to get depressing fast .
Older high end sigs just dropped about 200 $ from some merchants to clear stock.
Which means the margins are significant.
I love sigs and will buy more .
Had 226s 229s 2022s.
The problem will be the perception of what your getting.
Any Sig with night sites and a srt could still be a 1000 dollar gun .
Front serrations on a gun doesn't make it a high end gun.
So here we are with a new great gun. Great sites, nice grips , srt , some effort made in the frame and other perks I truly fancy.
For 950$ - 1000$. Ill buy four, two 9mm , one in 40 and one in 357SIG .
But if these thing MSRP for 1450$ ill own none. ok maybe one but not 4 .
Bruce Gray does a pretty good job explaining how this is actually a pretty sweet deal when you consider the checkering, cut out under the trigger guard, polish job on on the trigger, grayguns trigger, etc. To get all this work done on a regular P226, you would never get it anywhere near the price it is being offered.
But agreed, not something I could buy one of each. But something that I would absolutely love to buy one of.
true , we both sound like sig fans ... so not bashing
But i'm implying building it with an undercut , checkering , and a different trigger installed .
Doesn't really add to the cost to make the sucker
its not like they took them off the line and added it . They just built it that way .

Are we able to order these yet MDC?
Cathy
I never thought I would be into a Sig, but that SAO version has me rethinking. Hopefully it is available on IOP.
