    SVSS vs SIII

    Hiya Jerry,

Did you happen to make a comparison with these 2 scopes?

    SVSS 10-50x60 MOA

    vs.

    SIII 10-50x60 LRMOA

    Some input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Own and use them both... what do you want to know?

I have reviews on my website... see homepage that will compare the SVSS to most high end high mag scopes on the market today.

Let me know your questions and application.

Found your reviews and very informative.

I'm putting parts together for a .308 build and seriously looking into the SVSS. The price is holding me back a bit.

Hmmmmmm ..... Buy once, cry once ????

Compared to its peer group in the 34mm high end high mag scopes, the SVSS can hold its own so is way less money then comparable products. I have used it in competition settings and it rocks... I am actually modifying my FTR rifle to fully support this scope and its heavier weight cause it works tangibly better then the SIII's I normally use, it is worth the effort.

The side focus system on the SVSS is amazing and really offers me an advantage to see the air and target out to 1000yds. The SIII is equal to any single adjustment side focus system like NF, or March or S&B. The SVSS is simply better.

If you are looking for pricing around the mid teens, then the SIII 10-50 will serve you very well and again, better then anything in its price range. I have competed with these scopes since they first came out and they work very well.

Tracking is solid in either scope.

Either way, you get a great scope for a very fair price.

    Let me know

    Jerry
