I'd probably vote the cheaper coating myself, if it were an actual supressor or I'd want it nice inside too but as is... Ehh

I think I would vote for the cheaper finish as well to keep the cost down. I love the idea of having a internal muzzle device hidden inside but totally am fine with just getting a basic shroud for now.

Tagged for interest. Would go the cheap route. Can get expensive higher quality options at later date when production is ramped up and product out there.

Interested to get something to shroud the barrels on my 16" AR's

How about one that can go on the Kriss Vector 45 with a 5.5" barrel.

If one brake is quieter than another is it considered a suppressing device? Or is it in the marketing (like magazines)? Don't sell it as a fake can, market it as a REALLY long muzzle brake?
Criminal Code S.81(1)(c) a device or contrivance designed or intended to muffle or stop the sound or report of a firearm.

So if it is not designed specifically to muffle or stop the sound then you are good. Muzzle brakes are not designed to muffle the sound.

That's an understatement! Really hate being next to them on the firing line!
