The 2A joins two LAR15 or XCR 7.62x39 mags, orienting the mags in the same direction, and at a slight angle for improved ergonomics.

Slimmer profile of the coupler helps keep the overall length to a minimum and allows the use of a single screw to keep the mags locked in place.

May also be used as a replacement mag base as show below.

These pics are of pre-production models and are therefore unfinished. The production models will be anodized black.

Price will be $15.95 just like the type 2 which it replaces. They are available for purchase now on our website.

Put me down for two Dave. I got my mags working in my SKS today. I may still have issues with the first round feeding from bolt back and will spend some time determining the problem. Other than that my Magwedge is good to go. Great improvement over the duck bill.

It would be much nicer if the coupler held the xcr pistol mags at an angle similar to a standard 30 round mag. Much easier to use and carry when they aren't canted at a steep angle.

They are not canted at a particularly steep angle, I will post some comparison pics when I get a chance.

When laid over top of an AR mag body, there is maybe 1/4" of difference at the center. The fact that these sit at an angle and are not curved may make it look as if there is more of a difference than there actually is.

In any event, they are easy to handle and ideal for those of us that like to "beercan" our magazines. They also fit well in a mag pouch.

Glad to hear your mod is working well.

These couplers are available now on the website. As soon as I see your order I will process and send two on their way.
