They are 1/4 inch thick
they are more ridged then others but they do flex
As they are rated at the upper end of the LIIIA spec they are more stiff then most LIII soft armor, but that's a good thing as they will stock muti hit for 44 mag as close range and also 00 buck at 15 meters.

these would go behind a ceramic plate so so if/ when it starts to fail on muti hit, the sharp chunks of ceramic will be caught in the Kevlar.
If a plate doe not fail, but has large amount of back face deformation, the soft armour will help lower the transfred force to the body.
these plates can also be uses as stand alone up to 44 magnum

Its is kind of exspensive to use as an anti spall guard, but it would work very, very well.
