Americas oldest firearms manufacturer turns 200!

To celebrate their 200th year of continuous manufacturing, Remington will be producing a small run of both a 200 year limited edition (only 2016 of each model!) as well as a very nice, but more affordable 200 year commemorative edition for the model 700 ADL, 870, 1100, 7600 and the 1911.

What are the 1911's going to look like? Also, do you know approximate pricing?

Sorry, we don't have photos of the 1911 yet. As soon as I have them, I will post them here.
They will have all of the same features as the other models :C-Grade Walnut Grips, Classic American Style Engraving and Gold Inlay, Limited to Quantity of 2016, Special Serial Number
For the commemorative edition: Satin Black Finish, with Commemorative Walnut Grips
All I can tell you on price is that the limited editions will be fairly pricey, but the commemoratives will be more affordable. Check with your local retailer for pricing. We will see small quantities of these in Canada most likely, so if you have an interest, get in touch with your favourite dealer ASAP!
    Thanks for your interest!

as a quick aside, having visited the factory in 2001, it was very cool to see how the old part was still there and connected to the newer part.....went from thick plank floors to concrete where the changes occurred.
