WWJMBD? What Would John Moses Browning Do?
A buddy, and fellow instructor at Bisley when I lived over there, was one of the armourers for the films. He has a nice collection of the guns used, including some of the Sterling SMGs. The odd thing is the guns were not deactivated, and are still capable of full auto fire, which is why he still has them, as they can't be sold.

YES! I would pay a considerable sum for a remastered, 1080p (4K?), UN-MESSED WITH original trilogy! Explosion "rings" from Alderaan and the Death Star, WHAAAAAT!?
As for the guns, I always liked the Stormtrooper blaster rifles. Coincidentally the Rebel troopers in the Tantive IV shootout scene are equipped with blasters made from the same base rifle - a Sterling.
