Welcome! One quick question: if I were only needing a $10 product, like a flashlight mount or a dump pouch etc., would it still cost $15 to ship?

That is a good question, and the short answer is yes... but because you know this in advance (unlike the majority of sites where you put items in your cart and then get right to the end of the checkout process before discovering that shipping is exorbitant), our suggestion is that you build a 'shopping list' to take advantage of our fixed shipping costs. We've even had groups of friends place one 'pooled' order of over $200 to get free shipping...
As we send everything via Canada Post using their Expedited service and request a signature, the harsh reality of shipping within Canada is that most times it actually costs us over $15 to send your goods. We could cut corners by going for a slower service or by not requesting a signature but, in our view, that's not the service you deserve.
