Cdi dbm for savage axis - drop into boyds stock

Some new stuff.. I have instock the CDI DBM for the Savage Axis. This is just the mag well and uses the factory trigger guard... Less money at $235

Supposed to be sized to fit into new gen Boyds stocks and I have a pro varmint on order now to see how it fits.

How this for a dirt cheap way to put AICS mags into a great little repeating action?

Trigger, Barrels, Pic rail scope bases... maybe even tactical bolt handles... are all possible.

For those wanting to modernise a dirt cheap hunting rifle and get a better platform for varmint and tactical type shooting, here you go.

    PM or email to order.

I am working with CDI to motivate Boyds to accept their DBM as standard inletting pattern.. Hopefully, this will lead to a real inexpensive way to get stocks fitted to AICS bottom metal.

Stay tuned... and go bug CDI and Boyds if you think this is a great idea.

I'm very interested to hear if the Boyd's stocks are inlet for the CDI DBM. I will have to send Boyd's an e-mail as well.

    Hey Jerry,

According to the CDI website they will inlet Boyd's stocks to accept their DBM for free. If we order Boyd's stocks from you is it possible to have them make a detour at CDI to be inlet?

No, cause boyds will not facilitate this and they need to handle the export. They don't seem very keen to do much outside the norm.

Can you recommend anyone in Canada to inlet a Boyd's stock to take the CDI DBM? I think inletting the stock myself is beyond my abilities
