They do fit , the 500 and 590 / 590a1 use the same receiver , I have a 590 made in 92" that the receiver is marked 500a and I just put one of these kits on another 500 receiver .
You're good to go with this .

They know they can sell the exact same gun for twice the price if they call it a 590.Screw what the manufacturer says. What do they know? Lol.
Marketing 101.
590A1 designation really only adds parkerizing, metal safety/trigger guard and heavy walled barrel. Receivers are the same. Here's the factory 14" 590A1 BNIB:
Only issue I can see is if you have a shiny blued 500 receiver w/jeweled bolt, your parkerized tube and barrel may look out of place.
I've only seen bayonet lugs on 590 and 590A1 20" models.
$439 is still strong money for this conversion seeing as I paid $599 for my whole shotgun... but these haven't been seen for a while. I'm sure sponsors will sell them out. Lots of 500/590/A1's around. The combo 590A1 Blackwater + the 14" Conversion kit is a pretty good deal if you don't already have a Mossberg. I'm just wondering if you'd have to take off the rail to use the bead sight with the short barrel installed...

Regards 599$...on sale for 439$......you could buy a brand new 590 persuader for this price......I know it's not you guys at GP dictating the price....and you guys just bring in what people want to buy.....but whoever would spend close to 500$ on a 14 inch barrel and mag tube for a mossberg 590 is absolutely nuts!
I've always wanted one. Wish mossberg wasn't so weird with their rules and would just export the whole gun. If these ever get down to 250 i'll grab 1
